GET YOUR CLIMB ON!

matt's homie took us on this 63 mile ride from Westwood to Malibu, with a long 9.5 mi climb up Latigo Canyon & a mad fast 9.5 decent back down (bring your road or freewheel cause it will eat you alive).

2nd summit, 2,000ft
there were a lot of people riding on this sunny sunday.. including the ucla cycling team!
46x22, very impractical and painfully slow
ok, the beach/lycra tan is not important, look at the Pearl Izumi logo tan on my thigh. haha weird.

LAST MINUTE TOURING

4 days, 3 nights, approximately 280 miles due to some impromptu exploration. Absolutely bootyful. Enjoyed going along the coast, seeing a lot of roadkill and getting the hell out of LA for a few days.

Every Direction Is North

We go back to school in less than a week, so I figured what better time to pack in the mileage. Headed north for a test camping/touring ride. Route was from Santa Monica to Leo Carillo State Park. My buddy Matt joined us at Leo Carillo State Park with the support wagon and biked with us to Oxnard. From Oxnard we headed back down to Leo Carillo State Park for some overnight camping. All in all, 120 miles over 2 days.

Rockin' the jersey, cycling bib, cutoffs, and sneakers.
