LAST MINUTE TOURING

4 days, 3 nights, approximately 280 miles due to some impromptu exploration. Absolutely bootyful. Enjoyed going along the coast, seeing a lot of roadkill and getting the hell out of LA for a few days.

Every Direction Is North

We go back to school in less than a week, so I figured what better time to pack in the mileage. Headed north for a test camping/touring ride. Route was from Santa Monica to Leo Carillo State Park. My buddy Matt joined us at Leo Carillo State Park with the support wagon and biked with us to Oxnard. From Oxnard we headed back down to Leo Carillo State Park for some overnight camping. All in all, 120 miles over 2 days.

Rockin' the jersey, cycling bib, cutoffs, and sneakers.

TAIWAN TRIP

YO! Just got back from Taipei, Taiwan and had a sick time out there. Anyways, I checked out this fixed gear shop over here and met Burner, who runs the shop Swirly Whirly. Burner is all about building classy bikes, but sells a bunch of dope stuff over there. Here are some pics.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!! COME SHRED THE GNAR!

I expect to see all of you, my little steel ponies, at my race this sunday! Since this is somewhat local I expect UCLA to represent and take the podium. There will be a custom "Santa Monica Alley Cat" jersey for the winner. If you don't wanna race that's fine. Come hang out with me at the park. I hope to see you all your beautiful faces sunday.
