BLADERUNNER ALLEYCAT AKA WHY I LOVE ZIADIE

Just wanted to immortalize my love for Steven Ziadie by posting an email from Steven Ziadie. Enjoy.

"hey everyone,

so it was nic and i representing our group and i think we did FUCKING well. there was about 50 people who started the race, and only 25 finished. nic and i paid our 5 and signed up as team. we placed fourth. there were messengers from New York, San Fran, and Philly. the race led us through parking garages (a few guys went down on the slippery floor) , we had to get off our bikes and take elevators to the top of a downtown building, play bike polo against a drunk guy at one check point and it ended in a bar called the "monte carlo," just to get stickers on our manifests. i got chased by a dog and nic got chased by some cracked out guy in the warehouse district (but i'm sure he didn't notice it, i of course saw it being behind him at the time, the way the guy ran reminded me of a mummy, which is awesome).

two people got hit by cars, one we heard about and the other happened right in front of us. there was about 7 of us rushing to make this light and the girl in front of us got taken out by a speeding taxi. she was tangled in her bike not moving. we did all we could until someone called the ambulance...

it was a very surreal night. i still cannot believe we placed fourth (which is not good enough to get a prize). some messengers gave us very MANLY hand shakes and suggested we play bike polo with them (cuz at the bike polo check point we exhibited most impressive skills). i even got a nod of approval from o20's TJ and i'm pretty sure a girl at the bar looked at me, kinda.
